Recreating the "Village" Through Student Storytelling
When traditional village children told stories informally to younger sibs and neighbors, they were building cross-age bonds of community and earning genuine self-esteem -- while strengthening their language skills. Fran leads participants in non-threatening exercises which train student tellers for the "village" setting (not theatrical Performance). You will leave with several traditional tales to teach and tell in your village.
